My Story

How my banking experience helped me expose dishonest brokers.

My journey in finance didn't start with trading, but in the classical banking sector. For several years, I worked in the Risk Management Department of a major commercial bank.

💡 What did banking teach me?
My job was to read contracts between the lines and find vulnerabilities in financial obligations. I learned to spot exactly where financial institutions "hide" their fees and liability disclaimers.

While working in the office, I developed a passion for Forex. I immediately noticed a frightening difference. While every word in a bank contract is regulated by the State Central Bank, the Client Agreements of offshore brokers are often pure chaos. I saw clauses that allowed brokers to cancel any profit simply based on a "suspicion of non-market quotes."

When I left banking for private trading in 2016, I decided to use my professional skill of "meticulous document reading" for the benefit of the community. That’s how the idea of ForeksBonusy.ru was born — a filter that screens out junk offers.

"I don't believe ad banners. I only believe the Client Agreement. If there is a loophole in the document to cheat the trader, that broker will never make it into my top list."

Professional Path

2005-2016

Banking Sector (Risk Department).

2010-2012

First steps in Forex. Blowing accounts, learning from mistakes.

Transition to full-time trading. Development of algorithmic strategies.

2019- 2026

Developing ForeksBonusy. Creating a proprietary broker scoring methodology.

My Trading Setup

Currently, I mostly trade medium-term strategies, as managing the site takes a lot of time:

  • Platforms: TradingView (for charting), MT5 (for execution).
  • Instruments: Majors (EURUSD, GBPUSD) and Gold (XAUUSD).
  • Principle: "Better to miss a trade than enter a doubtful one." I apply the same principle when choosing forex brokers to add to the no deposit bonus list.
